No, the web browser is by far the biggest client type app. There was
simply no more RAM left for the 'file:' protocol beside the 'http:'
protocol on the original target system. Contiki 1.3 for the enhanced
128k Apple//e could likely accomodate for the web browser with 'file:'
support but I didn't modify / extended Contiki apps - beside fixing
bugs.
