Hi everyone.
I received my order of components from futurlec yesterday which are mostly
for the USB project.
Besides getting the wrong USB connector which was probably my fault I got a
74ls273 octal flip flop. Do I need this for interfacing to the Apples bus?
If I don't then I have no idea why i bought it.
It would be an useful chip for doing bus things like 16 - >8 bit databus or
65816 high address/databus.
Anyway I was just after input on whether this chip is needed because I've
forgotten what I need to connect micro USB to the Apple2. My focus has been
on coming up with some alternate electronics to add some extra
functionality.
I also couldn't resist ordering another 74ls259. They are so useful.
I know it doesn't fit with the topic of this thread but I had to tell
someone that would appreciate this. A couple of days ago I bought an
Imagewriter II for AU$2. That made my day. My old one died in about '93.
