Interesting you should say that. I have an 8 bit ISA parallel card in my
miscellaneous cards box that gave me the willies. It seemed to have
something a bit odd with the ISA edge connector. On checking with a pinout
to be sure I came to the conclusion that it wasn't actually connected to
the databus. Only the addressbus, IO, and a few other lines. That is one
evil card.
