Flash roms are FUN!

The 28F circuit in the design archive is for 12V flash chips.
Just need 2 x IN914 diodes and a switch.
5v through one diode directly to the programming pin
12v through a switch and the other diode to the programming pin.
Diodes stop the 12V feeding back to the 5V circuit.
You could put an LED (with appropriate series resistor) on the 12v side
to indicate when programming voltage is present.
Try www.futurlec.com.au for your electronic bits. They have a big range
of crystals/oscillators, as well as uController stuff fantastically cheap.
Postage is very reasonable. They are slightly cheaper for AUS purchasers
than the international www.futurlec.com site, but only have a limited range.
Purchased a number of things over the years, never had a drama.
For example, the international site has a great range of new "mini' boards:
SD Card interface $4.90
Stepper motor $8.90
Great value.
