Hello everyone. Macdog here. I am trying to install the pseudo-disk I
got from Alex. I installed it in a couple of different slots on my 2E.
I guess I am pretty ignorant on how it is supposed to work. I first
installed it in slot 7, and tried to boot from it. The 2E seems like
it breaks into the monitor as I get a screen of garbage, starting with
an asterick. I then tried to install it in slot 2. I booted, did a
control reset, and then a PR#2, and the computer just hung up. I can
not find any instructions on his website on how to set this up. Can
anyone give me the noob version on how to get into the pseudo-disk and
play from the images. Also, I have a superdrive controller with a 3.5"
drive in slot 5, a 5.25" controller with two 5.25" drives in slot 6, a
128 meg compact flash drive from Rich Dreher in slot 1, a mouse card
with a turbo mouse trackball in slot 4, and a ramworks III card with
the rgb daughter-board, hooked up to an analog IIgs monitor.. This is
an enhanced Platinum 2E, with a stock processor running at approx 1
mhz.
Thanks for any advice/instructions.
Macdog, aka Jamie Steffens.
