Richard, I assume you have the 61-key keyboard for the Syntauri. Does the keyboard contain any logic, or just the keyswitches and isolation diodes? And do you have a good picture of the keyboard interface card for the velocity-sensing kyeboard?
The reason I ask is that the interface card I've reverse-engineered is extemely simple (2 'LS368s and a 'LS00), but it has unpopulated positions for two 18-pin DIPs... Were any interface boards made with these positions filled, or is the 3-chip version the only one? The version I'm examining looks easily capable of reading a 4x8 keyboard matrix, or a 16x8 matrix if the keyboard contains an 'LS138 decoder... Since the 61-key velocity-sensing keyboard contains 122 switches, plus footpedals, there must have been some cleverness involved. ;-) -michael NadaNet networking for Apple II computers!
