Which 9 address lines? Assuming /DEVSEL, /IOSEL & /IOSTB are already
there and A10-A2 are connected you would only lose access to three more
bytes of ROM ($CFFC-E) which would not be a problem.
I suspect you have connected A3-A0 to allow fine grained access to the
DEVSEL space. Even if only A10, A9 & A8 are connected that would still
leave 1792 bytes available in IOSTB space (7/8 of 2KiB).
