Fortunately, you don't have to define it yourself. Apple has a list of
obsolete computer products they update every now and then. The Apple 2
is on it. In fact, the Blue and White G3 just went on the list during
the last update.

"The manufacturer said so" is a pretty good defense, should a problem
come up.

There would be a real chance that they would not even have an idea what it was. Most of their techs and all the sales people were not even around when the Apple II was in use or really young. At least the tech we have around here know what they are. He used to work for a store called Computer Kingdom.
