I've washed my //e motherboard with a garden hose a few times before I
realized that I really didn't need a system saver to draw all that dust
into my cpu.  The //e has since stayed pretty clean the last 15 years
and still humming along (silently).  After the wash, I always just did
a quick towel-off and then let the sun do the rest of the work.  I did
the same with the case.
