Good to hear that you've found the firmware bug. :-)
Thanks for dispelling my fear regarding SD card re-use issue.
There are still two things I'd love to see combined with your solution:
1) write functionality in nibble mode
2) the DIP switch (or equivalent switch) being placed at the end of a
ribbon cable for image selection whilst the computer is running (eg.
for anything that requires more than 1 disk). I can't imagine it being
practical having to open up the machine to select a different image.
But having said that, I don't imagine it being a big modification to
your card to attach the DIP switch to a ribbon cable either - or am I
wrong here?
I know you are asking people to assist with the development of the
firmware, and although I'm a software guy, I have zero experience in
this field. Is it something easily learnable?
