Interesting. So these exemptions still don't cover obsolete media used
to distribute other content (ie. films and music), so the DMCA still
contradicts the fair use exemptions in the Copyright Act.

It's nice to know though that we're no longer conducting a criminal
activity when we break copy protection on Apple II software titles.

I'll omit the usual rant about how this ridiculous, corrupt piece of
legislation came to be passed in the first place.
