Without digging to see if I can find the manual (and I'm not even sure
I have an Imagewriter II manual), my recollection is that there's an access
panel at the back.  SOmewhere like the leg on the right side (if you are
holding the unit so the back panel is facing you).

I remember I did open mine at one point, but while I have a clear recollection
of doing so, what needed to be opened is less clear.  I'm pretty certain
there was an access panel, though it might have been screwed on.
