Unfortunately I don't have it here in front of me, but I believe it's a
passport midi interface and has one midi in and one midi out. If I
remember correctly the manual includes programming info and maybe the
schematics? I vaguely recall trying out the MIDI interface, but didn't
do anything fancy with it.
Do you know anyone coming to the festival or who lives in the sf south
bay area? Given your signature, you definitely seem like someone who
would appreciate the software or would know people that would. My
preference is to get it to somebody that would appreciate it. I didn't
pay all that much for it, and it seems like a nice collection so I
don't want it just going in the trash. I have a Macbook with garageband
and practica music that is filling my needs.
Here's an incomplete list of the music software that I made when I was
initially sorting through it all - there are a few missing from the
list. And it's possible that some are defective given the age of the
floppies (non music software and manuals not listed):

I see that the VCF has a consignment area, so maybe I could donate the
non-music related parts to the VCF if they are interested in keeping
whatever they can get for it all. I've seen some of the crazy EBay
postings, so there must be some people interested in this stuff.
