What's the latest Mac model/System ver. that can write Apple IIgs images?

I got a $20 Mac SE Superdrive from ebay and use it to remote boot the IIgs . I also use it to make 800k Floppies for the IIgs (I attached an external 800k drive)
Usually I use my eMac to download disk images from the WEB.
Drop the images or write the extracted images on a 1.44 MB floppy which can be read by the SE. The SE can then put it on the 800k floppies or store it in a directory which can be accessed by the IIgs via Apple Talk.

I am looking for a Ethernet card for my SE so that I can eliminate the floppy jogging, if someone on the list has one to give away I will be happy to take it:-)

Thanks to all for the advice!

I just won a Mac IIci w/system 7.6.1 on ebay, which should be perfect (I hope). It should be a fun machine to play around with. There seems to be no shortage of cheap and interesting Nubus cards for the Mac II's.

I'll try to get it connected to the IIgs with localtalk and use it as a server. I may try to do a direct serial transfer of DOS 3.3 using ADT and Tandy 1000 SX for fun anyway.
