I tested the Low-Res graphics mode, and my suspicions were confirmed.
The computer is plotting pixels in greyscale in GR mode.  Somehow it
has ts signals crossed about when to turn on the color kill and when to
turn it off.  Wierd!

Wierder thing is, my Apple ][ is doing something similar but for
whatever reason I can make it stop by adjusting the horizontal position
of the monitor.  Figure THAT one out.
