That seems a safe assumption for a disk image grabber.

But is there enough memory in the Apple II to contain all of the
multiple track reads before sending all the date to the (PC/Java/etc)
"server" side for processing? I'm guessing possibly not, and that with
no disk swapping involved (a la SST) it wouldn't matter how long the
6502 chugged away constructing each master track from the multiple
reads and analysis.
