Documentation archive - How does this sound??
I have the barest sketch of a layout in mind. A template for each item. Fill in the blanks kind of thing.
Background might be a tile of the logo of the publishing company. Faded, pastel colors.
Top 2 lines are program name, and company.
Next position down is 2 pictures: Left is a digital camera shot of everything included in the package laid out for
display. Right is Box/Folder/Binder/Whatever scans front and back. Centered between them might be a brief (100-150 word)
description of the program.
Next level would be a scan of the Cover of the Manual. Click to download - eventually to be an all-inclusive PDF,
followed by shots of everything else in the package.
I'm on the fence as to whether to include downloads of the disk images. Almost all of them are out there SOMEWHERE, but
we will find (a little birdie told me so) some that aren't yet on the Web.
Last, along the bottom would be links to previous/next program, previous/next company, Home page, etc.
Unless some of the major links go into a frame along the left of the page.
And, of course, this template should drop into your favorite HTML-editor program, drag-and-drop these items into place,
and save as this-new-program.html.
Comments?? Suggestions?? Questions regarding my samity???
Ummm... Strike that last one.....
