It depends on how much effort you want to go through. First step is to
look for past articles here about documentation. As Bill Garber pointed
out the FAQ is also a good resource. You can go out to garage sales to see
if anybody has some Apple// books. Look at the Applesoft reference and
6502 Assembler reference. If you want to get fancier you could buy a copy
of Orca/M (ProDOS 8) plus documentation. I think the CDs are still for
sale. There is also Aztec C if you have some F/OSS you'd like to use.
There are a number of other 8 bit languages you could use but then you'd
be dealing with other issues.
If you want to do this on a GS there are more resources. If you're in
Winnipeg I can get you one or three.
