it doesn't work for me as my system doesn't allow cookies or java and
google, like yahoo, requires these elments to join their groups. you
should have set it up so that people can read and post without having to
become members of the group. this keeps out a lot of people, like me.
more and more isps around the world are disallowing cookies and java
on their systems because hackers and spammers are using these elements 
to break into people's systems. google and yahoo also keep your sign
up info on file and i don't like that either. it's another reason why i
stick to csa2 on usenet - no java, no cookies, no hassle.
