I think if it's used to facilitate discussions, it could get fairly
redundant.  But you're right -- it would be a more suitable host for
files than the a2 gmail account that's floating about (which is a cool
idea, but could fall victim to abuse.)

It really has the look and feel of a wiki -- which may be another good
way of maintaining long-term archival of ideas and reference materials
(memory maps, firmware listings, dos disassembly, etc)

My only recommendation that if folks contribute something very useful
to the groups space that they also post to the comp.sys.apple2 group to
let people know about it.
