On the otherhand you can do cool thinks like listening to MOD or
Soundsmith files while using The Manager and simultaneously be using
ShrinkIt to uncompress to a 3.5" floppy and not miss a beat.

One of the (several) advantages of the controller buffering tracks
is a complete insensitivity of data transfer to instruction timing,
and so to interrupts--just like a hard drive on an Apple II.
