Excellent deal you got there.

I'm with ya there. Nothing like the real thing. The Virtual ][
program for OSX has a bundled transfer program, A2V2:

Here is a Mac-to-][ program, though since I haven't used it, I can't
tell if it's for classic or contemporary Macs:

The ADTPro program will be able to transfer diskette images back and
forth between contemporary Macs and ][s:

No matter what route you choose, you're going to need a super serial
card in your IIe. I don't know if the imagewriter was serial or
parallel. If serial, you've already got the card. If parallel, you're
going to need to get one. They can be had fairly reasonably on eBay if
you're patient, but be sure it includes the header-to-DB25 connector
(sometimes called the "ranbow cable" because it was multi-colored
ribbon cable, though mine seem to all be plain grey).
Some of the basic connection stuff is documented here:
http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/bootstrap.html
but it's got a decidedly PC bias. Things are just slightly different
on a Mac, but not insurmountable. You will need a USB to DB9 converter
of some sort for that end of the bargain.
