As a 14 year old kid back in 1988, I can't recall Star Wars being ever
released for the Apple II. I'm fairly certain that if Broderbund had
released it, it would be a fairly "big deal". Big publisher
(Broderbund) and a big time movie/video game (Star Wars) should have
created a fairly big buzz. If I had known about it and the game has
been released, I probably would have bought it (though I had the Atari
5200 version from Parker Brothers).

The IIGS would have only been around for about 2 years and the Apple II
market was in decent shape. I find it odd that Broderbund would have
acquired the license for Star Wars games. WHile I seem to see notes
online that Commodore got some Star Wars games, I don't recall them
either.

However, your find is fairly interesting. I wonder if there is a demo
copy or something floating around in someone's hard drive somewhere
that we can dig up.
