The Duo Disk has one 25 pin connector. As earlier mentioned, similar to
that of the Apple ///.
IT can be daisy chained in that it is the last device. It lends itself
to this by the very fact that there is only one connector. Connecting
the DuoDisk to the back of a prior 5.25" drive usually nets you it's
first drive working when drive #2 in the chain is accessed.

The Apple /// can daisy chain up to four disk drives. The Apple ///
Plus has a DB 25, the /// has an IDC 26 pin male on the backplane.

...atleast the /// Plus I have does. I also have a 'prototype' disk
drive where I have the rounded DB25 cable and hooded connector but it
provides an IDC 26 pin for the additional drives.

It should be noted that the 4 drive support is 1 internal + 3 external.
