The first computer I owned was an Apple IIGS. Technically it started out as the "family computer" but I was pretty much the only one who ever really used it, so eventually my parents stopped thinking of it as the "family computer" and thinking of it as "my" computer. Heck, I own the thing now, along with the ImageWriter II printer. Heck, that IW2 has outlasted two other ink jet printers, both of which broke down prompting me to haul my old printer out of storage.
