This whole thread reminds me, if anyone ever comes across The Metallian of
Metalland I BBS (in Oregon) fame, be sure to pass on a:

	"Hey Dave,
	Where's my disks?!"

See modems were two damn slow for high volume trades in the mid 80's and
at one point I worked out a trade with him that involved 50 or maybe it was
70 disks. The sh*t kept my disks and never sent them back.

The thing that pissed me off more than loosing the disks though was I had
shipped them in those oh so wonderful grey hard shell Verbatim cases that
held like 12 disks in each case. I even told the SOB, "forget the disks and
just mail me back the cases!"... never got a straight story from him. If I had
been a little bit older with a better transportation and he didn't live 3000+
miles away, I would have been at his door, banging it down.

That was the only mail trade out of the dozens that I made that ever
went sour.

I just thought I would share. It's amazing how I hadn't thought of this for
quite some time, and rehashing it is getting me all pissed off again. Wow, the
power of reminiscence.
