Heh, I feel old stating that, when I first began posting to comp.sys.apple2 
I was still technically a teenager. :)

The first computer I used was a Texas Instruments TI-99/4a. I learned 
BASIC programming and an introductory to computers on that machine.

Shortly after I tinkered with several other machines I'd see on display 
in shopping malls: VIC-20's, Commodore 64's, TRS-80's, Sinclair ZX-81,
you name it.

My first experience with the Apple II (an Apple II Plus) was in elementary
school, around the 5th grade.
