There is nothing silk screened on the back of the card (thats why I
didn't take a photo). However, other IIgs RAM cards that take 1Mb x 1
DRAMs are 18 pin. This sucker has 16 pin sockets like the Apple branded
card. Can you get 1Mb x 1 DRAMs that are 16 pin? If so, does any one
have a model #?
The card does have two jumpers. Its not very clear in the photo I took
thanks to the effect of the flash. There is one jumper near the bottom
of the card, and another one in between the two rows of chips about
half way up the board.
The configurations that I tried are (these results are from memory,
I'll retest today):
1) No jumpers - no expansion RAM was detected
2) jumper 1 on only - 640K was detected (how it gets this number I'm
not sure?)
3) jumper 2 on only - no expansion RAM was detected
4) jumper 1 & 2 on - 640K was detected (I think)
Any further help would be appreciated greatly.
I'll do some more testing today, and I'll populate 2 banks (512K) to
see what effect that has.
