Being a couple of month in the same situation like you , I can tell thatthe first disk has to be purchased or a lean /copy from a fellow Appleenthusiast.


You need this "seed" disk to format a blank disk.

Then you can use ADT to get all software from the Web downloaded andtransfered to the iie.


Google for ADT, it is a great simple tool which solves a lot of trouble.
