29, Sinclair ZX81

My dad is an engineer and used to tinker with it, as well as my older
brother (who is 7 years my senior).  My mom taught me basic on it when
I was 5.  Soon after a soldiering accident (my dad modified it to
control a speak-and-spell, and kinda got it to work too before killing
it) it was replaced by a nearly identical TS-1000.

Two years later my mom bought my dad an Apple //e for his
birthday/father day present as well as for the whole family.  The rest
is history.  I still have the unit in my closet, though I've parted it
out (it was otherwise working fine except for the blown Vulcan power
board).  They sure don't make 'em like they used to.
