The first computer I owned and used was a Geniac in the 1950s. It was made 
by Berkeley Enterprises   Okay, so most people wouldn't call it a computer 
by today's standards but some people think it was.  See

I did learn the concept of binary math and BCD on the Geniac and it really 
sparked my interest in computers which I couldn't really do anything about 
until 1980 when I bought an Apple ][+.
