First computer used: An Apple II series (probably a ][+ or IIe) '83
First computer family owned: Apple IIe '84ish
First computer _I owned_: Apple IIGS '90

I _then_ used military computers that used the 10" reel to reel magnetic 
tapes and paper tape punch and reader combo with teletype for keyboard 
and printer, for about 5 years. When they got rid of the teletype, paper 
tape unit and tape drives, they replaced them with a Solaris box that 
literally emulated the old gear.

Never had to play with the punched cards, but have programmed computers 
with bitwise pushbuttons.
