I'm still using versionn 6.3.

I've been burned by "upgrades" that are much more invasive than they
used to be, taking over file associations, patching into File Explorer,
etc.  As a result, my policy has become, "If it ain't broke, don't fix
it."

However, this may be a concrete of it being "broke" and needing
fixing...
