Well at least I have an idea what it really was. I have another one, though it is in the IIgs I'm keeping, I knew it was a Ram card, just not what it was, now I'm going to figure a good starting bid on it and put it up. Maybe I'll start at $10.99, I like to start low.Sean Fahey wrote:Steven Lichter wrote:Found this along with other stuff, it says Harris Laboratories, Inc cc 1990 and has 4 banks of chips, so maybe it is a ram card.Yeah, one of the 4MB cards of the time. I think it was a Pacemark clone. It's quite different in layout than the Pacemark. Lower profile. Stands back somewhat from the RAM slot. The Harris Labs GSauce card is whats in the "Portable IIgs"- It made it possible to have extra RAM in there because of it's low profile. It sits right under the 3.5" drive thats attached to the side of the case above it and actually serves as a support to the drive since the card has a stand off integrated into the rear of the PCB so it does not pop out of the slot.
I started putting more up just a bit ago. --The only good spammer is a dead one!! Have you hunted one down today? (c) 2006 I Kill Spammers, inc, A Rot in Hell. Co.
