Re: Tired of GSE-REACTIVE?

Tired of GSE-REACTIVE? Actually... yes! I was in the middle of napping
when the phone rings. Seems I just >HAD< to run a read what is going on in
the News Groups. After been really busy for the past couple of weeks and
receiving countless emails about all sort of things going on in the News
Groups ... THIS has finally pulled me in.

First let me say that everything Grant has said to this point is true.
Actually, all but the 10% better comment. I have heard rumors that Grant is
working on a portable Apple II solution though. Several people have been
killed obtaining these pictures, but never the less here's a top secret
picture of a prototype that he has been work on:

As you can see he hasn't quite worked out the steering yet. I bet he'll be
releasing something soon though! Here's one of him arguing with a winch
hook:

Maybe one of his pervious portable projects needed some help and he decided
to talk it over with Mr. Hook? Obviously TOTALLY insane!

Actually Grant is quite smart, but he is totally insane. Who else do you
know that has hand soldered 19 thousand LEDs and the uses the project as a
table top? Who else could make a 1k RAM Card that costs $150? Using 'Grant
Math' then a card like the RAM-4-GS will cost $614,400 before shipping.
Maybe the average user WILL need a 150 amp 5v power supply to power his
card? Who knows? Grant isn't confirming anything, but now his so-called
'Apple II Portable' pictures are starting to make more sense!

Hey Grant: Looking for help with GALs up in Alaska? You might want to ask
Jeri Ellsworth. She might be able to help.

I've also heard rumors of his ability to hack in to Websites. I just read
his comment about the Main Page and it seems he has now added himself to the
'Thank You' section! I wonder if he has downloaded all the design files and
that's how he's going to put us out of business!?! You basted!

Well, enough ranting for me. I thank everyone for their support in the past
and their continued support will also be appreciated - especially in the
face of this 'onslaught' of competition. I bet in the end his items will
only be 9% better then ours, and NOT 10%! Really my greatest fear would be
is if he teamed up with Bill. Now THAT would be a force to be reckoned
with! :-( Now I'll have to keep my eye on Bill...
