Hi, I like the fact that there are apple enthusiasts out there just
like me :) I was curious and crazy enough to see if I can bring my
apple disks to PC-- unfortunately this SSC card I got from someone on
ebay didn't have the rainbow ribbon and I think I have to manually
solder the pins to a serial cable-- Anyone with this model card can
please tell me where pin 1 and 10 end up?
I believe the pins are arranged this way (backside of board)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
| | <- I am assuming pin 1 is the left pin
here and 10 to its right
| |
| |
| |

----------------------------------
The serial connector pin 1 on the end of the rainbow ribbon (i'm
assuming its male connector)
\ . . . . . / <- I also believe pin 1 is on the left here
\ . . . . / <- and 9 is on the second row
I'm going to try using ADT between pc and my apple IIe

I tested the SSC card and it works, after going into the prompt from a
hello Dos3.3 disk and typing
IN#2 and ctrl-a
a printout shows up as
"APPLE SSC:"
so I know I'm very close to getting started, can't wait! someone please
help me on this!
