Re: ZipGS on eBay
I don't want to elaborate too much yet, however until high speed
stability can be obtained with 32k, there isn't much sense going to 64k
other than low speed operation (~12mhz). While 64k will provide a
discernable speed increase, it isn't my direct focus at the moment,
however I have evaluated it. Believe it or not (since I have the cache
card schematic drawn out for both AE cache cards in addition to about
17% of the TWGS itself (independent of osites). It was very nice of AE
to provision the extra address line for 64k operation.
Who exactly is osites by the way? I never made the connection to CSA2
or elsewhere.

The problem is that both Tony and I are very hardware oriented, I even
more so than Tony. What needs to be done here is for someone compare
the v1.5 "8k" ROM to the v1.7 & v1.8 ROMs inorder to see what and where
the changes are. All three should be compared to weed out "other"
changes in the ROM code. I don't know of the existence of a v1.4 and
I'm pretty sure that v1.6 never existed.
