The SVD sounds pretty cool, but as I expected, the site documents
problems trying to boot most software in a //c's external drive (in
slot 7 etc). The software often reverts back to accessing the slot 6
drive.
Hmm, I'm trying to get hold of a //c+, and that might actually have
more luck, since the internal 3.5 is mapped to slot 5, and the first
external 5.25 is mapped to slot 6.
Anyway, the coolness of your hack, like the CFFA is mass storage, and
thus a potentially diskless system. In fact I suppose your pseudo-disk
would have less trouble with the //c+ as well ... except for lack of a
slot, of course. ;-)
