Huh??? Where is the CPLD I/O wired to???

It's not wired to anything.  That's up to you--and there are no
wiring pads brought out, just a place to solder a socket.

It would be hard to wire it usefully to edge connectors for four
different computers, but it would have been nice to have pads.
As it is, you have to "contact solder" all the wires you need
to the socket pads.
