When it is used in a IIe, the PC Transporter has a cable which connects
a composite video output signal into the IIe video circuitry, which
overrides the display being generated by the Apple II logic board. In
order to make this work cleanly, the PC Transporter blanks the Apple II
display while the PC Transporter is generating video. It probably does
this even when not running in a IIe.
