I asked this question a few months ago and got lots of links to all the
software you'd need, including the CDA and the 8-bit standalone program
that does everything the CDA does.

If you just want a quick way to control the ZipGS, may I suggest
"Zippy",
a ProDOS 8 SYS program (http://www.fadden.com/dl-apple2/#zippy).
