Well, I, for one, would be more than willing to replace the room taken
up by the internal drive with whatever expansion, assuming it included
a CF slot or some other form of mass storage; there's several cubic
inches of space freed up immediately.  (Mind, I've no idea if the //c
would boot minus the internal drive, as there wouldn't be much
connected to virtual slot #6 at that point; maybe some complicated
ROM-based trickery would help here.  Regardless, I've no idea.)  Heck,
I would think that you could fit all of the things you mentioned in
that area.

Minus the VGA and USB ports, of course.  Those are going into my
super-secret expansion box that I'm developing; I'm planning on having
it interface through the joystick port, but don't tell the competition.
