Re: Unbelievable Auctions

Pointless? I have built three complete IIGS systems with ZipGSX
boards, SCSI and 4 MB RAM boards. Mine has a 6. I have a collection
of software that, thanks to Alex, and other auction buys is huge.
Everything that can run from the HD is installed. My two boys will
enjoy learning and playing on a IIGS and learning the origins of the
personal computer while they also use their PCs.

I bought Pointless because it is not on Alex's sight and is still being
sold. The Shareware Solutions II sight has Pointless for $20. All I
need is Harmonie and an HP deskjet and my IIGS will be able to generate
a document that is comparable to my P4 with an HP color laser.

You see, guys, before I took the job of managing a 2000 PC network, I
was teaching computer history and technology to high school students.
You should have see them go crazy playing Choplifter.

One thing I tried to instill in my students was not to believe the
industry when they say a computer's life span is 3-5 years. I showed
them that a ten year old PC can still be a useful machine. They also
got to see that a 20 year old Apple is also something to behold.

Apple ][ 4 ever!!
