Re: Ram-4-GS - fried?

Rob, did I not tell you to send me the card should you have any problems?

I am not a ball buster, if it's a 50 cent/ $1 problem, I'll fix it and send
it back.
Just send me $4 postage to return it to you. No biggie.

: Apparantly, my Ram-4-GS got fried at some point. Not sure if it was some
: power surge, my 7 year old (he's been using the on/off button and it's not
: a clean off/on that he does), or something else. The IIGS is extremely
: flakey unless I swap out this card with the old 1MB Apple card.
:
: Anyone know if I can start pulling off the SIMMs to see if any of them are
: fried? I tried pulling one off and the computer didn't start at all, so I
: just stopped before something _really_ stupid happened. Maybe there is
: some pairing thing...?
:
: I figure 2MB or 3MB is as good. Definately better than the 1MB card I'm
: currently working with. Plus, I can't get into Merlin-16!! :-/
:
: Anyway, ideas? The card is pretty darn simple - just the 4 SIMMs and a

: card, so smoking guns so-to-speak.
