Close, but no cigar. ;-( Their analog chips (AD722, etc) actually have what is needed inside, but they don't output component, but instead modulate it onto a chroma subcarrier for S-Video (or composite) out. I guess that just the buffers and matrix are too simple to merit a chip in AD's eyes. (Or, more likely, the market was too small.) Still, it's a shame that they didn't provide a way to simply bypass the modulator and use the three output drivers for component. ;-) -michael Parallel computing for 8-bit Apple II's!
