LOL, yah - I remember feeling the same way. When I got rid of my last Apple II, I swore I'd never use another Apple product again and went 100% PC for 10 years. I hated Macs, Mac users and even GUIs in general.

For me, thats almost 20 years ago. Sculley's gone. Woz moved on. Apple made a lot of mistakes and it's amazing they survived the 90's. They could have treated the II community better ... we all agree there. They could have merged the II and Mac so it wasn't so much of a divided community. But it didn't turn out that way. Yet we're still here. The Apple II is still here and frequently doing stuff no one conceived of it doing back in it's prime. TCP/IP? Real ethernet? Huge compact flash storage?

OK, enough diatribe.

We would like everyone to know how wonderful the Apple II is. Even wayward Mac users, or anyone who's been bitten by the retro-computing bug. We would like them to appreciate the Zen that is the Apple II - the computer that launched an industry, influenced millions of people, made it possible for the Mac to survive and help Steve Jobs buy Pixar, join Disney and take over the world.
