I'm using Contiki.

Check out Contiki (http://www.sics.se/~adam/contiki/). Apple2 binaries
are available (http://www.a2retrosystems.com/downloads.htm).
The Contiki core design is great, but the apps mostly suck. So improve
one and/or write a new one.
