AppleWorks 3 with Timeout UltraMacros installed also uses the mouse for navigation. Moving the mouse up, down, left, or right selects various menus and options when presented with some. While editing text, it moves the cursor. Holding down the button scrolls up or down, depending on the last direction the mouse was moving. It selects cells in the spreadsheet. I would assume AW 4 and AW5 work the same way.
Correct. Versions 4 and 5 just "built in" Timeout. I should have mentioned this, since the version of Appleworks that I use is 3 + Timeout Ultramacros. ;-) -michael
