Does the # that gets printed when you hit the 'a' key act like an 'a'?
I.e. you type 'cat' and see 'c#t', do you get a 40-column catalog when
you hit return?
Does the # that gets printed when you hit shift-3 behave like an 'a',
or is it really a number sign? Hmmm. what about variations on a theme
of printing asc()...
?asc("#")
?asc("a")
...which would actually look like ?#sc("#") on your screen.
(I imagine they really are distinct in the Apple's mind, and it's a
character rom problem...)
