I didn't realise. I knew the voltages would be off, but I was unaware
of the possibility of damage.
I was having trouble taming the leads today, and I discovered I needed
some larger heatshrink anyway, so I'm leaving the PC peripheral stuff
for the next revision. I'll also add a power switch then.
Anyhow, I suspected that the lack of loading was at work, so I took a
chance and connected it to the //e.
Perfect.
The disk drives are rading more reliably. The resets are cleaner. The
display is sharper and the VSync is a lot more responsive.
Right now I have it ADTing floppies to this PC. I'm happy!
